Dans un pays Africain, de l’Océan Indien, à Madagascar, vivent les Malgaches. Madagascar est un pays à forte potentialité, mais reste éternellement et paradoxalement un pays très pauvre. Ancienne colonie française, la France est souvent accusée de tous les maux, et parfois d’être la seule responsable de l’échec économique du pays.
Certains citoyens Malgaches nourrissent de la haine, non seulement contre la France, mais des fois contre les Français tout simplement. Certains sont francophobes délibérément, d’autres le sont mais de manière plus subtils et entretiennent leurs rancoeurs, comme ceux qui exigent que les Français doivent utiliser le mot “Malagasy” et non le mot “Malgache” en s’exprimant même dans la langue de Molière.
Et alors, deux hommes, deux Français, démontrent à eux seuls que les Français ne sont plus les colons que la nouvelle génération les croient. Le premier, c’est Alexandre Poussin, père de la famille Poussin, qui a montré au monde, aux Malgaches, la beauté de leur pays. Cette famille Poussin, à travers la série culte Madatrek, a rappelé aux Malgaches qu’il y a des bons Français, des hommes de la France qui aiment Madagascar, et mieux que les Malgaches eux-mêmes. Elle se bat partout pour la protection du “Tanin-taranaka” malgache, défendant une cause qui pouvait ne pas être la sienne.
Et l’autre c’est Nicolas Dupuis, l’entraîneur légendaire des Barea de Madagascar. On connaît les galères financières des Barea au moment où Dupuis a pris en main l’équipe nationale. Il savait ce qu’il fallait faire pour monter une équipe capable de donner la fierté aux Malgaches, il savait les moyens financiers nécessaire pour y arriver, il savait les difficultés auxquelles il devait faire face. Il n’était sûrement pas motivé par le fric, le challenge aurait été perdu d’avance si c’était une question de pognon. Il avait de la conviction, et il savait qu’il était le seul capable d’endurer tant d’abnégation et de modestie jusqu’à payer de sa poche. C’est un amour pour Madagascar que peu de Malgaches peuvent se targuer d’avoir.
Ce beau parcours de Madagascar à la CAN 2019 aura redonné le goût du patriotisme et du vrai fihavanana à tous les Malgaches. La fierté s’est exportée jusqu’à l’île de La Réunion qui considérait l’ossature des Barea comme des enfants du péi. J’espère qu’il permettra aux Malgaches d’ouvrir les yeux, de prendre conscience que seul le travail paie, et qu’il est regrettable de s’acharner sur de la francophobie ou accuser sans cesse la colonisation.
Je suis Malgache, et fier de l’être. Je ne suis pas prisonnier du passé, je me concentre sur mon futur.
