Mon dernier billet sur l’arrosage de mon gazon par de l’huile vidange a suscité des commentaires écologiquement pertinents sur Google Plus. Et au fil de la discussion, je me rend compte de mon état d’esprit vis-à-vis de la question environnementale, et qui se résume par le titre de ce billet: hypocritement vert.
Et l’hypocrisie, ce n’est pas avec les autres, mais avec moi-même. Je suis conscient de l’importance des questions environnementales, et qu’il faut agir pour protéger ou préserver l’environnement, mais au niveau des actions, cela n’a pour réel but que de rassurer mon égo et faire taire ma conscience.
J’insiste sur le non-gaspillage de l’énergie, et j’utilise uniquement des lampes économiques, mais quand il s’agit d’ordinateur par exemple, je le laisse souvent allumé pendant des heures alors que je n’y touche pas et il n’y a pas de tâche importante à faire. Je préfère souvent rouler en deux roues, pour apprécier la mobilité et la faible consommation en énergie, tout en sachant que côté pollution, c’est pire que les autres moyens de transport.
En résumé, mes actions que je qualifie de vertes sont plutôt un moyen d’être radin quand cela m’arrange.
