Ce samedi, dernier jour de la qualification pour les Barea de Madagascar. Une rencontre contre les Sénégalais, chez eux. Un match sans enjeu, car il faudrait aux Barea une victoire à 3 buts d’écarts pour ravir la première place. C’est Mission Impossible.
Quelle que soit l’issue de ce match, les Barea participeront à leur première phase finale de la CAN.
Je pronostique une défaite par 3 buts d’écarts des Barea lors du match de samedi prochain. Et pour les 3 matches de groupe dans la CAN en Egypte, je fais déjà un pronostic de 3 défaites ou 2 défaites et un match nul, autrement dit, les Barea se classeront dernier de groupe, crédité de 1 point tout au plus.
Ce n’est pas que ça m’amuse d’être rabat-joie, mais il y a un niveau qu’on doit admettre. Actuellement, les Barea de Madagascar sont classés 24è dans le classement masculin en Afrique, et le Sénégal occupe la première place. Presque toutes les équipes qualifiées à la CAN (il y en a 24) sont donc d’un ou plusieurs crans au dessus des Malgaches. Je ne suis pas rabat-joie, je suis réaliste, et réussir à se classer troisième de groupe en match de poule, ou aussi ramener deux points après les trois matches de groupe, ce serait déjà un bon pas en avant pour nos porte-fanions.
Sinon, il y a 5 mois, je me suis amusé à faire une graphique corrélant le classement FIFA de l’équipe masculine de Football de Madagascar et les gouvernements du pays. Cette graphique montre que lors des présidences de Zafy, Ratsirahonana, Ravalomanana et Rajoelina, le foot a dégringolé, tandis qu’il a remonté la pente sous les ères de Ratsiraka et Rajaonarimampianina.
