Les américains ont inventé un jeu très intéressant. Il s’agit d’un jeu de guerre de n personnes. Les règles sont simples :
Règle numéro 1: vous avez un but : parmi les joueurs, vous avez un adversaire X et votre objectif est qu’il soit détruit.
Règle numéro 2 : vous n’avez pas le droit d’attaquer cet adversaire directement
Règle numéro 3 : vous avez le droit d’attaquer tous les autres joueurs.
Ainsi donc, dans ce jeu, Obama, SOPA & PIPA, Wikileaks, Universal, Pirates du web, FSF, Wikileaks, OWS, Google, Wikipedia, Anonymous, … ainsi que les utilisateurs d’internet sont les joueurs.
Tout a commencé quand Wikileaks a diffusé sur internet des documents de l’administration américaine classés top secret. Une gifle en pleine face que l’administration ne pouvait éviter ni contrer. Mais quitte à tomber, vaut mieux se préparer pour le futur, donc Obama devait dresser un plan lui conférant le pouvoir de faire taire un site internet qui lui serait nuisible. Règle numéro 2: il ne peut pas s’attaquer directement à Internet, il a donc choisi pour cible les pirates, mais réellement, Obama n’en a rien à faire du piratage, lui-même a sûrement téléchargé des films sur MegaUpload. En choisissant de s’attaquer au piratage, il a pour allié les entreprises créateurs de films et musique, comme Sony et Universal, d’un côté c’est un bon déguisement pour son plan, et de l’autre, cela permet d’avoir également quelques fonds pour le projet, car ce projet doit passer dans les chambres et Sénat, et comme partout ailleurs dans le monde, il faut bien acheter les élus pour qu’ils votent pour le projet de loi. Justement ce que OWS lutte contre. Ainsi sont nés SOPA et PIPA.
Mais SOPA, il gène pourtant les entreprises comme Google. En effet, si la loi passe, et que Obama décide d’ordonner l’anéantissement d’un site, disons dotmg.net, Google devra desindexer ce site et faire en sorte qu’il ne soit trouvé nulle part.
D’un autre côté, ce pouvoir est trop grand et la mise en scène trop flagrante, les vraies cibles, ceux qui luttent pour un internet libre ont compris qu’il faut la contrer. C’est ainsi que Wikipedia manifeste contre SOPA.
Pour donner l’image d’une administration qui veut vraiment lutter contre le piratage, le FBI ferme MegaUpload.com. Anonymous contre-attaque et se charge contre les sites favorables à SOPA.
